In a messed up corner I sat
My arms in cross, my butt on a mat
I watch and hear the busy men around
Realizing they did not have much fun too
I knew instantly how sadness felt
I showed pity, no one else dares to have dealt
With that I have in mind: a problem or two
Maybe they don’t care that’s the real clue
They say ever-dreamer I act and write
‘Cause they never understand what I had in sight
It’s the instinct of me, of concern and of life
It matters much but they don’t care
In a messed up corner I sat
